Smart Energy at the Airport: A Fully Operational System

Energy in Action: Smart Airport Power System Fully Operational

The final phase of the project is complete, and the entire system is now fully operational ⚡

At one of the largest airports in Slovakia, we have delivered a комплекс energy system combining a 510 kWp ground-mounted photovoltaic plant, a 215 kWh battery storage system, and our proprietary Energy Management System.

During commissioning, we performed detailed functional testing of all components and their integration. We tested peak loads, response to consumption and production changes, and storage control scenarios.

The EMS now manages energy flows in real time, maximizing on-site consumption and minimizing grid costs.

This ensures optimized charging and discharging, reduced grid exports, and efficient load balancing.

The solar plant uses single-axis trackers, increasing annual production by 15–25% and improving daily output distribution.

Even a brief misalignment during startup reminded us that fine-tuning is part of the process—today the system runs fully automated.

Anti-reflective panels ensure safe operation in sensitive airport conditions.

The result: higher energy independence, lower costs, and operational flexibility.

We also handled all permitting, compliance, and infrastructure coordination.

Our work continues with long-term monitoring, service, and optimization.

If you’re planning your energy future, we’ll show you what’s possible.
