MORNING
In the morning, or when it is partially clear, the photovoltaic power plant (PVE) does not produce enough electricity. The battery is discharged, and the missing energy is replenished from the distribution network.
DURING THE DAY
During the day, or when it’s sunny, PV produces more energy than you use. The excess is accumulated in the battery. You don’t need power from the grid.
EVENING AND NIGHT
In the evening and at night, or when the sun is not shining, the PV plant does not produce. Stored energy is used to operate appliances.
Dead Battery
When the battery is discharged, power from the distribution network is used. Part of the battery capacity is reserved for a possible power outage.
