How we prevented daily losses of 60 000CZK
1MW PV outage in Slovakia, June 2017
The power station was disconnected from the grid for 2 hours before technicians arranged for it to be reconnected.
Thanks to online monitoring, the outage was detected almost immediately.
Electricity loss in 2 hours = 1 032kWh
Financial loss for 2 hours = 10 320 CZK/408 EUR
Sample losses that could occur without monitoring:
Disconnection 1 day – power loss: 5.67 MWH,
financial loss: 56 796 CZK/2 245 EUR
Disconnection 7 days – power loss: 39.75 MWH,
financial loss: 397 500 CZK/15 712 EUR
(losses are based on the purchase price of 10 016 CZK/MWh)
Price of monitoring within the complete service: 200 CZK/8 EUR per day

Everything went according to agreement. Based on the agreed criteria, they prepared a price offer, and it remained unchanged throughout the entire implementation phase. Everyone was very helpful, and they managed to resolve small complications during the installation, including placing the panels on the roof according to our wishes.
After granting power of attorney, they handled the subsidy and paperwork. After almost a year of operation, everything works as it should, so far we are satisfied.

Yesterday I found out that I received a subsidy from the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic covering 50% of the costs.
