Modular structures for photovoltaic panels on flat roofs with south or east-west orientation

PV Service Plus is the official dealer of model structures for photovoltaic panels on flat roofs with south or east-west orientation

The modular construction system made of aluminium profiles allows the photovoltaic panels to be installed at an angle of 15° on flat roofs. The design is intended for panels with dimensions of 1000 x 2000 x 35 mm. On request, the design can be adapted to other panel types or angles.

The structure is placed directly on the flat roof and loaded with concrete tiles with dimensions 400 x 400 x 40 mm. On a flat roof, the structure requires no anchoring or other intervention in the roof structure. It is advisable to use a rubber pad under the structure. If the support structure on a flat roof needs to be anchored, this can be done in different ways depending on the structure itself, the roof composition and the roof covering. The construction is made of aluminium profiles, the fasteners are made of stainless steel.
The bolted connection system allows for quick installation without the need to drill holes and eliminates flat roof inaccuracies.

The construction consists of three structural units connected by stainless steel screws. Between the two legs of the structure, an aluminium cover plate is screwed to the rear, which also has a load-bearing function. The spacing between each row of panels is determined by the connecting profile (can be modified on request).

The mounting system is made in Slovakia. The mounting system has strength verified by static calculation for the territory of Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Installation procedure

The individual profiles are assembled according to the illustration and connected with M8 x 25 screws. If necessary, an expansion joint is placed under the structure. The concrete tiles are placed on the centre profile (the required load is determined by a static calculation according to the conditions at the site). The side leeward plate is broken according to the number of tiles.

The photovoltaic panel is fixed to the structure with standard aluminium edge and centre brackets and M8 x 40 stainless steel screws. The rear leeward sheet, full (for J-construction) and narrow (for V-Z-construction), is fixed with Tex screws.

If necessary, the structure is anchored into the roof without load. The method of anchoring shall be determined by the designer.

Improper assembly and installation can cause loose joints or collapse of the structure and panels. In the event of non-compliance with work procedures and the use of other materials or fasteners, the warranty cannot be invoked.

The structures are manufactured in Slovakia.
